We live on the border of NY and PA. There is no large grocery store in Waverly. We have a smaller privately owned Market which we do shop at . I shop Tops Grocery store occasionaly but had usually shopped P&C . I have found that since Tops has taken over both our P&C stores on Keystone Ave. Sayre and Elmira St. in Athens, prices have gone up. There are items that P&C carried that are no longer available. I would welcome competition from another grocery store, such as Weis or Price Chopper. There surely is a monopoly with Tops having 3 stores in our small valley.
