Why can't you leave this alone? The P & C at the Riverside Mall in Cortland serves the entire opposite end of town (way across town from the Tops store). I don't drive, so I am able to walk to this P & C for all my groceries. Many people from outlying areas, East Homer, Truxton, etc. drive in to this store because it is so much easier than driving all the way across town. We love this store and DO NOT want it to close! In this economy (Cortland County has one of the highest unemployment rates in New York State)if you close this store you will be adding alot more people (already living in a depressed area) to the unemployment statistics. We fought the Super Walmart coming to town, we lost on that one too. Apparently it is OK for them to come in and underprice everyone out there. What is the matter, Walmart too big for you to take on? Very angry & upset.
