Subject: Cigarette and Smokeless Tobacco Reports

To Whom it May Concern;

Please register my strongly felt opinion that the tobacco industry's marketing expenditures should be monitored and reported fully and accurately. It is only in this way that states, schools, and other organizations and individuals dedicated to protecting the public from the hazards of smoking, have evidence of the David versus Goliath aspect of convincing any given person in the target audiences to avoid smoking.

This collection of marketing data should include a state-by-state and brand-by-brand marketing cost breakdown. It should also delineate in the finest possible detail what kind of tobacco products are being most heavily promoted, as well as an analysis of who the target audiences are of ad campaigns.

I am a registered voter of Washington State, in King County.

Sincerely,

Merlla V. McLaughlin
