Subject: Cigarette & Smokeless Tobacco Reports

It is imperative that the FTC continue marketing reports on the tobacco companies.

These are valuable tools as we testify to local and state governments about the need to regulate tobacco. The FTC reports are reliable, accurate and authoritative. They should be expanded as follows:

  • state breakdowns

  • company & brand specific marketing expenditures

  • breakdowns on types of marketing
