Subject: Cigarette and Smokeless Tobacco Reports Good Morning, I would urge you to continue issuing reports on how much cigarette companies and smokeless tobacco companies spend each year to market and promote their deadly products. These reports are critical in the American Lung Association of Mississippi's battle against tobacco-related death and disease. Here in Mississippi we have formed strong alliances with many entities throughout the state to work towards tobacco free youth and to assist our adult population with cessation. It is essential that we stay current on what is happening in the tobacco industry and it would be great to know specifics for our state so that we can constantly be on guard to counterattack. We would also be happy to see more data on brand-specific or company-specific marketing expenditures.
