I am a licensed Private Investigator. I am a professional, and the investigators I know are professionals. We in no way want to aid anyone doing illegal activity. We are committed to solving criminal cases, eliminating identity theft, and all aspects of fraud. There is far more investigators doing good for the public, than the few rotten seeds. Please continue to allow Private Investigators to have access to Social Security numbers. In our industry, many of the licensed private investigators are former peace officers. We want to uphold the laws, not break them. If Social Security numbers are removed from Private Investigators, it would make it easier for criminals to continue their misdeeds. Again I ask that you continue to allow Private Investigators to have access to Social Security numbers. Respectfully submitted, Sonja Dee Raffeet, TCI Texas Certified Investigator Private Investigator Texas
