<hr><P><b>Comments:</b></p>The use of social security numbers are paramount in our Industry.  This is the one of the very few resources we have left in determining the true identity of an individual. Our industry centers on locating people who are committing fraud. The majority of these individuals use aliases, have multiple mail drops, or are hiding out.  The use of the social security number is uniquely specific to one individual and it creates a trail (electronic and paper) that helps to locate an individual in the shortest amount of time.  reducing cost to the end user and it helps to speed up the legal system bring these individuals to court reducing the case load on the judicial system </body></html>
