Our private investigative agency has been licensed in the State of Arizona for now 29 years. We use the SSN in our daily investigative efforts on behalf of consumers, law firms and all form of business entities in protecting their assets and employees, resolving issues of criminal activity, inquiries resulting from Identity Theft, and many other inquiries in which permissible purposes are respected and the information safeguarded. Disclosure of SSN's is truncated unless under the authority of a subpoena or in conjunction with cooperative efforts with law enforcement. Without the ability to use and research SSN's, our efforts and resultant successes would be significantly hampered and the damage to clients significantly aggravated. As President of the Arizona Association of Licensed Private Investigators (AALPI) and a strong supporter of NCISS, we believe in supporting only the permissible use of SSN and the strong prosecution of those in violation of those protections.
