Comments:
The American Petroleum Institute (API) recommends that the reference to API Publication 1509 in section 311.4 be amended to read "latest edition" rather than "Thirteenth Edition." API 1509 is currently in its fifteenth edition and a sixteenth edition is expected to be issued shortly. Adopting the "latest edition" language will prevent confusion as new editions are issued.
