Dear FTC, Isn't it possible that if "Do Not Track" were implemented too heavy-handedly, or too unilaterally without nuance or regard to genuine non-advertising purposes, it could risk damaging the mechanisms of valuable e-commerce, such as online transactions, affiliate sales, and the like? We must tread carefully here lest the baby be thrown out with the bathwater... Or put another way, not kill the golden goose in seeking a remedy for the bad actors in one segment. Thank you and sincerely yours, John Roam Washington, D.C.
