Submission Text
I understand the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has struck a deal with the makers of Four Loko that benefits the company at the expense of public health and safety. In fact it has been labeled "a license to kill youth."
However their proposed solution will do nothing to reduce the dangerous size or alcohol content of Four Loko. It merely changes the label and adds a cap to the can...none of which will stop a youth from consuming a 24 oz. container of 12% alcohol content beverage.
This is not an adequate solution to protect our vulnerable youth.
