I am requesting that the FTC consider the unrefutable facts about alcohol science and their responsibility to public safety before making any compromise with the makers of the dangerous alcohol brands made by Phusion Products.
Your entire reason for existing as a public government entity is to make decisions that are for the public good that rely on known scientific facts. There is no questioning the danger that these drinks pose for everyone but especially for young people. I am a licensed professional counselor and have been in the field of drug and alcohol and mental health counseling for over 20 years. I have personally witnessed the negative impact of alcohol on our society over my career. As a gov't entity whose responsibility is to protect the safety of its citizens and the economy - you have a responsibility to look at all the facts. Making this agreement with this company goes totally against this - not only the direct negative impact of the health of americans but adds to the billions in dollars from the overall negative societal effects of alcohol. Do the right thing - do your job. NO agreements with this company!
