I have no problem writing prescriptions for my clients, especially when I know it will save them money. However, I think it is absolutely ridiculous to require a prescription to be written, which would make the HUMAN pharmacist a necessary part of the equation. Until pharmacists are required to take courses on veterinary pharmacology, I will not trust them to do the best for my patients.
