I strongly object to requiring veterinarians to physically write a prescription for clients and patients who receive their mediications at the time of physical examination. This would increase client wait time, creat confusion and is another example of unnecessary governmental intervention. The impetus for this proposed legislation is beyond me. I have no problem with producing a prescription upon client request, so they can have it filled wherever they wish.
