THIS IS AN OUTRAGE! I offer written prescriptions already and if it is a product I already dispense there is a fee because I am incurring expenses in staff time as a result of these written prescriptions. How dare you try to say I must provide a service at an expense to me for free. I HAVE TO PAY RENT, SALARIES, UTILITIES, AND MANY OTHER EXPENSES AND THIS IS A SOURCE OF INCOME FOR ME TO KEEP MY DOORS OPEN. When did the United States become a communist state? Furthermore, you would expect me to bare the liability if the third party fills the prescription incorrectly. I have no control over that and what a third party does, or who the customer chooses to fill the prescription. How in any way can I be liable if they fill the prescription incorrectly? If I am dispensing the product yet also provide a written prescription as well. Not only is that redundant but it is dangerous as consumers will have access to twice as much medication without over site. Call the DEA and see how they feel about the potential diversion of controlled substances. Consumers have always received good service and medications at extremely fair prices especially compared to what is charged on the human medical side. Yet the small businessman or women get increased economic burden at the request of big box stores in the supposed nature of protecting the consumer. Again you want to make the United States of America in to a communist like state.
