My comments on HR 1406
Using the logic behind this bill:
Some pharmacies are more expensive than others. Why shouldn't all pharmacies be required to first say to their customers that other pharmacies may have the drug for less money before they are allowed to sell any drug. Why just vets?
Some lawyers are more expensive than others. Why shouldn't they be forced to tell their clients that other lawyers may be cheaper? (sorry- I put that one in for comic relief).
Shouldn't a car dealership's repair service center be required to tell people that Walmart is now doing oil changes and possibly for less money?
Follow the money behind this bill, and you'll see why it has been proposed. It has nothing to do with consumer advocacy.
