1. Prescription medications should remain as prescription medications. 2. Only specifically trained providers of animal medications should be allowed to fill prescriptions. (ex. I recently witnessed a human pharmacist substituting a completely inappropriate medication for a valid written prescription without consultation with the Doctor providing the written prescription.) 3. Consideration should be provided for many of the over the counter mediations the encourage pet owners to provide treatment to their pets, in an often inappropriate manner. More control of these medications is suggested.
