I am a practicing veterinarian, not a practice owner, so I am not directly affected by price issues. PLEASE do not REQUIRE written prescriptions to be given to my clients by me (though I am certainly happy to do it if a client asks). Human pharmacists are not trained in drug interactions and effects on various animal species. I had a cliet ask a pharmacist what to give her dog for pain and the pharmacist responded to give aspirin and the dog died from gastric ulceration. If human pharmacists are to be filling animal prescriptions, they NEED to be required to be licenced in Veterinary Pharmacy (as veterinarians are). Thnanks for your time. Sincerely, Erica Periman, DVM
