1.How are pet medications distributed to consumers?
I recently took my puppy to the vet and they brought the medicine out to me. There is no option to get them any other way.
2.What are the business rationales for various pet medication distribution practices?
I would assume that the vet makes a profit off of getting them that way.
3.How do these practices affect prices to consumers?
Because we are cornered in the office with a sick animal, and there arent exactly "pet pharmacies" -- we are forced to pay or let our animal go sick.
4.How do these practices affect product supply and quality?
5.How do these practices affect entry into the pet medications industry?
6.What product safety issues exist with respect to these practices?
7.Are there other factors that should be considered when analyzing the competition and consumer protection issues related to the distribution of pet medications?
