One of the most insidious elements of car dealer financing is the credit life and accident and health insurance they load into every contract. In most cases the purchaser has no idea it is there. The purchaser is "sold" a monthly payment which often includes these two insurances. The cost of the insurance adds to the overall interest and vehicle cost and usually provides no benefit to the purchaser. The dealers love this kind of "sale" because their commission on the sale of the insurance exceeds 65% of the premium cost.
You might want to look at this as a element of your study.
