It is impossible to get out a car lease. Does not matter if you lost your job, your house, your life. You cannot get out of a car lease. Even if your car is a lemon, it spends more time in the shop under warranty than in your driveway. If you own the car you can always sell it. Yes, I guess you CAN return a leased car with a huge penalty; this needs to be fixed.
