Comments:My wife and I have purchased and worn Bamboosa clothing from the earliest days of the company. We wanted to try clothing made from this unique fabric, and were amazed to find that the clothing was so soft and comfortable. We felt as if we were wearing a combination of silk and cashmere. We have continued to purchase Bamboosa clothing over the years, not only because of the characteristics of the fabric itself, but also because of the quality of the design, the workmanship, and the service provided by this company. Now, when we think of gifts for friends and family (whether adults, children, or infants), we turn first to Bamboosa. Not only have we enjoyed the products produced by Bamboosa, but as we have learned more about the company, we have come to admire it for the goals that it is trying to achieve, such as: 1. Development and production of a quality product made of material that had not been widely used in the U.S. 2. Development of an environmentally friendly product and provide support for other companies that are attempting to develop "grfeen" products. 3. Employment of American workers in a South Carolina county that has a very high unemployment rate. Most of the current workers at Bamboosa had worked for textile companies that have closed or moved out of the country. In recognition of what this company was doing and could do for the region, the United States Department of Agriculture recenlty gave Bamboosa a major loan to be used to train and hire other American workers. 4. Make a profit. As is the case with a small, new company, much of the profit at this time must go back into the company for further development. Because of the quality of Bamboosa's products and the goals of the company, I urge the FTC to support the efforts of this company.
