This is imperative to the prohibiting predatory companies from bilking unsuspecting homeowners. Our office provides foreclosure prevention services through our State Housing Authority and it is very easy for homeowners to get taken in by these scams. Some of the literature that is produced is so convincing that homeowners give their last $ to save their home from foreclosure.
