I am a mortgage lender. I don't do loan modifications. But please continue to allow attornies to modify loans. We need their expertise. Where else am I going to send homeowners that need help? Loan modifications are a joke and the Govt. counciling agencies do not have the capacity to do the work (although they intend well.) Howmowners that need help only have attornies to turn to. No attorney will touch their case if payment comes at the end of a successful modification. This proposed legislation TAKES away the homeowneer's option to have help from an attorney. Please reconsider. Larry Wallace
