Prohibit the coupling of home builders' sales agents and preferred or specific lenders. As a home buyer, I should have the freedom to choose where my loan comes from without penalizing myself through refusing, for example, 10,000 dollars off the purchase price or a specific dollar amount in various upgrades. The practice of builders offering incentives to buyers to use any specific lender should be considered fraud and punishable by law. The price of a home, or the particular features purchased from the builder must not be affected by the source the buyer's funding.
