Comments:
As a jewelry industry professional with over 30 years experience, I am opposed to the proposed amendment 16CFR part 23. I foresee considerable consumer confusion despite any and all proposed guidelines. These standards would not be in keeping with international standards. Any metal product that is less than 850 parts platinum and does not use platinum group alloys should not contain the word platinum in the product name or advertising. Thank you.
