Comments:
Items made with Platinum should be labeled with the parts per 1000 that are platinum i.e. 500, 1/2 pt., 750, 3/4 pt., 875, 7/8 pt., etc. Items made of any precious metals, i.e. gold, silver, & platinum that have a percentage of any other precious metal as a part of the alloy, should be allowed to have the percentage of each precious metal marked on them as parts per 1000. This methodology would standardize the marking of precious metal items and make it less confusing for the public at large to know the makeup of the item they're purchasing.
