Dear Mr. Matthew Bye: The subject of law on intellectual Property Rights such as trademarks and copyrights. My company which is trademarked and copyrighted and at the time was a total new Invention and I felt it was my invention for no where was a company like mine or ever thought of company like mine and It was totally new Invention. I clearly had my trademark name after this company and it clearly different than any other and'' the name''(which was trademark) implied the process which seperated it from any other trademarked name because actually it was a new invention as the'' light bulb'' yet there was always light from the sun or candle. My company trademarked '' the video yellow pages'' which implies a totally different type of yellow pages than''paper'' yellow pages and of course its simple to see the difference ones paper and the other is video yellow pages, so both are as daylight to dark totally different. the processes are different one is made with paper and the other made with video, thats rather simple. Video yellow pages takes a process we call a ''video processor and ''video monitor'' without the video monitor its impossible to see video yellow pages. which would make one believe this invention would be with a computer and a monitor to make video yellow pages. I was a pioneer and one of the first sites ever up on the information super highway, the internet, no other yellow pages was on-line at that time because everyone really thought this all was no more than a fab and no one took it serious, however words was being displayed at that time and no audio or video, but I realized that the process was one that any information being displayed on-line had to go through a video monitor so I invented the video yellow pages. I trademarked and copyrighted this new invention. now comes the time that the large large yellow page companies, telephone companies that charge 5.000.00 dollars a month for full-page paper ad, now wants to dominate the on-line yellow pages and stiffle competition, free speech, violate my u.s. constitutional rights,civil rights, declarations of indepence etc and just keep me out all the way and yet I was the inventor of yellow pages on line and I was a pioneer and a citizen that thought competition would be good, they have the paper version and I have the video version and I offer audio and video and a full-page ad not for 5.000.00 dollars a month to the mom and pop businesses, but 199.00 dollars as henry ford said make it affordable for every person. You see I believe then as I do now that in a free country the right to own businesses is one of the greatest rights in a free country and it makes the word freedom ring with the america dream, but as I was in school the teacher knew not everyone was college material and asked some students if they ever thought about vocational classes like painting,carpenter work, plumbing, electrican etc and you know common sense tells you if your not college marterial and yellow pages are mostly made up like these people in small business that these people really can't afford 5.000.00 per-month, thats 60.000 dollars a year, wow, for just one side of one piece of paper and if you bought both sides that would cost you 120.000 per-year. you know I thought then as I think now these paper yellow pages are taking our heratage of being americans pursuing the american dream away to having that right to work our own small businesses and having that freedom the u.s. constitution gave us as one of our rights of freedom and so sir I invented this yellow pages. The question seems to be these other yellow pages on-line are violating my trademark because they to are using the video monitor to put those paper yellow pages on-line also. Now I think my rights have been violated and I feel real competition should actually be the market of capitalistic system in a free market of america andwe are a country of law and my trademark are one of the highest federal protection for businesses and I feel you work for the federal goverment and you may have taken a oath to protect the constitution of the united states of america and I feel that your office should actually investigate the rights and make a descion as if they are violating my rights so that I can get a injuntion from a federal judge and let the competition of free markets work, paper version 5.000.00 per-month or video yellow pages at 199.00 month. you do see the difference don't you, well one says small businesses will have money for insurance for their workers with the savings and some wifes will feel that with the savings they can buy a house for the childern and buy the kids the clothes they need and maybe start a college savings plan for the childern and actually i feel open lots of ideas our poorfathers had in mind for america in the right to own ones own business in a free country of capitalism where u.s.constitution says we are a nation of law with liberity and justice for all. I would surely appreciate your agency looking into the law and policy of this consitutional issue because I am the inventor just like any invention.
