As a practicing pediatric and adult dermatologist, who has witnessed first hand the rise in Melanoma, I feel it behooves the government to provide stict and stringent guidelines prohibiting tanning. As we are aware, the number 1 cause of death in women between the ages of 18 and 29 is melanoma, which is directly related to tanning parlor/UV exposure.
