I feel that these funds could be used more constructively than by iniatiating computerized records. For just a few examples, how about the maintaining of post approval sites for drugs that either have extreme or deadly side effects so that doctors don't prescribe them any more. Also, more investigation should be done on alternative medicines which are many times less costly. Also, from conversations from many of my friends who are health practioners, many elderly people who have nearly been admitted to nursing homes have been found to be merely over-medicated
