Submission Text
I thoroughly read, and research ingredients, and am appalled at how brands are misleading non-informed consumers by labeling with certain catch words "natural", "organic" "eco", etc. when in fact, the majority of what is in these products, or how they're made, are far from "natural, organic, or eco".
People like me, who know what to look for, and are more informed, would simply not purchase these products. However, the majority of people do not know what is truly natural, organic, or eco and "fall for" the advertising, marketing, packaging and labeling.
Since there is already an agency that governs this area of consumerism, IT SHOULD DO SO in the utmost responsible manner and take care of this "greenwashing" of misleading labeling, marketing, advertising and packaging. Personal care products are as important as food products.
Please, and thank you!
