Most chemicals in common use have not been tested to see whether they cause cancer. There is no excuse for that. Chemicals that have caused breast cancer in lab animals and that are found in cosmetics, soaps, shampoos, etc., include 1,4-dioxane; acrylamide; nitrobenzene; ethylene oxide; nitromethane; perfluorooctanoic acid; urethane; propane sultone; 2,4-Diaminoanisole sulfate; C.I. Direct Black 38; progesterone; and estrone. To continue to allow their use is despicable. To allow such products to be labeled "organic" is an unspeakable atrocity against your own sisters, daughters and mothers. -- Stephanie Siegel, author, "Prevent Breast Cancer." www.PreventBreastCancer.org.
