Subject: Compliance with GLB/variations from state to state

I am writing in regard to the Gramm-Leach Act as it applies to the states. It is my understanding that the states are free to adopt their own provisions as long as they are more or as restrictive as the Federal Act. It is the variations that I am seeking. If you could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.
