I think a bright orange stick that says "may harm some vehicles" is offputting to customers as orange is generally a hazard color. Consumers would be confused as to what they can use, when something that says for "flex fuel vehicles only" would be more effective. There are clear indicators for diesel fuel to differentiate, I believe it should be along those lines rather than a warning-type sign. Diesel fuel would harm my vehicle, but I dont need a bright message telling me that, I can see green labels that said DEISEL and differentiate easily. Growth Energy recommends the following labels to cover all blends of Alternative Fuels containing ethanol likely to be dispensed at retail stations: i. 20% volume Ethanol (±2% Ethanol) ii. 30% volume Ethanol (±3% Ethanol) iii. 40% volume Ethanol (±4% Ethanol) iv. 50% volume Ethanol (±5% Ethanol) v. 60% volume Ethanol (±6% Ethanol) vi. 70% volume Ethanol (±7% Ethanol) vii. 80% volume Ethanol (±8% Ethanol)
