Comments:
1. Labels which consumers see at the gas pump directly influence their decision on which fuel to purchase. The FTC's proposed warning statement for ethanol blended fuels, "may harm some vehicles", misguides and discourages consumers from using such fuel. "For flex fuel vehicles only" is a much more appropriate label. The use of the color orange for the alternative fuels label is also suggesting that the fuel blend is dangerous as orange is often associated with dangerous or hazardous labeling. How about a dark blue label with white lettering which also includes the ethanol concentration and octane rating. Thank you
