I urge you to protect the public from misleading and false advertising about free credit reports (or any other false claims). The charges that can be activated most often fall on those least able to afford them. I appreciate and support your proposal to require a separate landing page on sites which advertise free reports which explains that the reports are NOT the free reports guaranteed by the federal government. I also support your proposal to delay advertising for other credit products until after consumers obtain their free annual credit reports.
