My son is 21 and looking for a job. One of the "employers" on Craigslist in our area required that anyone applying for the job had to submit their ONW credit report - and he recommended "FREECREDIT REPORT.COM" My son doesn't HAVE any credit, but I logged onto their site & was required to put my credit card number in. The "Credit Report" doesn't arrive for 45 days - however, after 30 days- they automatically sign you up for 3 other chargable services. When I realized that, I tried to 'cancel' but was told I had to CALL ALL THREE COMPANIES. I was "On Hold" for about 1 1/2 hrs, total, with all 3 companies CANCELING the service. This is just WRONG. It's misleading the public and isn't free at all; especially when the 'free report' won't arrive until after they charge you for services.
