Credit reports control our financial life. Our taxes pay for these companies. The FTC should remove all advertising and marketing by credit bureaus, before, during and after the process of getting a free credit report. I do not want to compromise my identity when searching for a report. Why do I need a sales pitch to add the confusion of some agency knowing more about me then I do. Stop consumer confusion and let us have the report for free, in fact why don't they send us the report free once a year.
