My attempt to get my credit score from Equifax on annualcreditreport.com bogged down in their advertising of something for $7.50 and something for $10.00. I was confused how to avoid these charges and failed to get my score. I agree with Michelle Singletary of the Washington Post that this advertising should be totally removed from the web site for the "free" report.
