All of the credit agency's make it extremely difficult and time-consuming to actually get the free report. I feel I am very savvy, but I almost signed up for a monthly fee service inadvertently when trying to get my free report. Since the program began I also have always had at least one of the three agencies refuse to provide one for unclear reasons that were never explained.
