Comments:Although I support the proposed amendments, they do not go far enough. The rule should be changed to prohibit all advertising and marketing by the credit bureaus either before or after consumers access their free credit report. Allowing any advertising or marketing, no matter when in the process or with what disclosures, will result in consumer confusion.
