The agencies should be required to give your credit score along with the report. It is unconscionable that this score is the basis for so many aspects of your financial life and yet you cannot have access to it without paying them. Part of the reason that so many people get sucked into the confusing and misleading ads is because they have to go elsewhere and pay for something to get access to the credit score also; providing one free credit score to the consumer along with the credit report may lessen this.
