Last May, I decided to check my credit on freecreditreport.com like so many others in the country. I received my report and went on my ways for the next five months. In checking my monthly bank statements recently, however, I discovered that I have been paying unknowingly to be a member of FCR, and have wasted $75 to be a member. I am so furious and had no idea of my account or the fact that I was paying $15 each month... If you can do anything to get the false advertising eliminated or at least educate consumers, that would save the next person from having a profile that they don't even know about and wasting away their money...
