Comments:
The FTC should remove all advertising and marketing by the credit bureaus before, during and even after the process of getting a free credit report. I shouldn't have to worry about identity theft or mistakes when checking my credit report. We should be able to get our reports and exit the Web site without having to go through a gantlet of sales pitches. This should be a simple, uncomplicated straight forward transaction. Nothing to confuse or sidetrack you away from what the original intentions were - namely be able to obtain and review your credit report. No hassle, no advertising.
