Since these guidelines are voluntary, I would like for independent reporting to be made available to the public, measuring how the industry is adhering to these guidelines. I want the food and beverage industry to be as accountable for the health of our nation as I am for the health of my children. When these guidelines are finalized, I expect the industry to adopt them. I don’t want my kids to be seduced into consuming trash anymore.
