my concern, although not FOOD related, deals with health, primarily that of our children. more and more products sold in the U.S. are made in countries such as the people's republic of china. it appears the marketing requirements for items made here do not apply to those imported. unfortunately, many imported items have high levels of lead. how can this be? regardless of how well we feed our children, their health is at risk due to this issue. lead is found in all types of items; candy, blankets, toys and the list goes on. please, for the sake of the children, include this in your discourse.
