"Finally, on September 1, 2005, the centralized source will become available to all remaining consumers, including those residing in eastern states." To wait 1.5+ years for a service that is available to those that live in the west is an excessive penality to those on the east coast and unfair economic burden to those that wish to check on their credit. The "Do Not Call" list was up and running for all americans in a fraction of that time, and was much more complicated to implement due to the many hundreds if not thousands of companies that need to comply. This punitive section must be amended.
