I think all CRAs should be required to issue a free report if I'm in their files: if we require this of only nationwide CRA's, what's to stop them from opening up regional branches to avoid the free reporting, circumventing the law! (If they can get away with it, they will) I also think there should be a centralized source for specialty CRAs, why should the consumer have to hunt down each for a report. Finally, I find it rather disingenuous, that the supposed hub of the financial world- New York, would be the LAST to benefit from free credit reports.
