I strongly agree with this proposal. However, it doesn't go far enough. Credit scores should be provided free as well, as this is important information that every consumer deserves to know about. The reporting bureaus are making a lot of money ($9.95 additional for the score) by charging consumers for their own personal information that is used on a daily business.
