This is an excellent Regulation. The CRAs profit from the information that they compile on individuals and should have a responsibility to provide that information to an individual, so that they may be able to verify it's accuracy. The section of the regulation outlining the central 'clearinghouse' for requests is also a very positive step. I would respectfully suggest that the regulation include language that compels the CRAs to include the Credit or Beacon Score that is reflected on an individual's credit Report. This score is heavily used in the decision making process of credit grantors, and with an explanation of the score, would be invaluable information to a consumer.
